I admit to being clueless most years about when the time changes every spring and fall.
Had I not been watching the news last night, I probably would have missed the notice that it's time to "spring forward" an hour tonight,
Of course, there are very few clocks to change anymore, aside from our Bose alarm clock and the clock on the microwave oven. But for the spring time change at least, keeping with the program helps us avoid being late to church on Sunday morning.
The best part? That extra hour of light at the end of the day. It motivates me to keep working later, because when it gets dark at 4:30 p.m. during the winter, that is a signal to me that I need to shut down the computer, and go curl up with a book or the evening news.
