As much as I love cold weather, I am generally D-O-N-E with winter by early March.
But this weekend? Cold weather, no problem.
Because "House of Cards" is back (13 episodes! Now! On Netflix!)
And of course, tomorrow - the last "Downtown Abbey" episode of all time.
Even for an addictive show like "House of Cards," Scott and I don't do binge-watch marathons. We generally watch one or two at a time, and give the sofa a break while we get up and go for a walk, or do some office work or laundry (the fun never stops!)
We are three episodes in on HOC (you've got to pace yourself). No spoilers, but don't be surprised if you start to confuse President Francis Underwood's re-election campaign with how the 2016 Presidential campaign is unfolding. (Is it real - or is it Netflix?)
So, if you want to join us, there will be a pot of chili on the stove for dinner.
And, of course, we'll fire up the tea kettle for tomorrow's "Downton" finale. Although if "Poor Edith" finally finds happiness, everyone may have to pop open a bottle of champagne.
See you Monday!
